UV印刷という技法を用いて、まっさらな陶器にアート作品を印刷している「複製原画」シリーズ。イラストをお願いしたのは、アーティストのtonoさん。
「Morning Walk」と題した作品は、tonoさん独自の美意識が伝わる、細部までこだわって製作されたイラストに、いつまでも飽きずにお使いいただけます。

The "Reproduction Original Artwork" series uses a technique called UV printing to print artwork on plain ceramic ware. The illustration was created by artist tono.

陶器ブランド「m.m.d.」として、陶器の可能性を追求し、食器はもちろん、キャンプ用陶器や、アロマストーンなど、これまでさまざまな商品を開発してきました。
今回八館さんの作品をプリントしているのも「瀬戸焼」という焼きもの、陶器です。
「アートをプリントするのに、なんで陶器？」と思った方も多いはず。ぜひ、詳しく説明させてください。

The pottery on which Mr. Hachikan's work is printed is Setoyaki, or Seto ware. Many of you must be thinking, "Why ceramics for art prints? 太古のプロダクトも現存する、耐久性に優れた素材

実は身近にある素材の中でもとても耐久性の高い素材である「陶器」。
遥か昔に製作された茶器などが、高いクオリティで現存していることはみなさまもご存知ではないでしょうか。

Pottery is actually one of the most durable materials around us.
You may know that tea utensils made long ago are still in existence and are of high quality.

劣化の心配が少ないので、一般的にアート作品に付属しているクリアボードはつけておりません。 傷つきにくく、湿度や温度の影響を受けづらいので、どんな場所でも飾ることができ、触っていただくことも。インテリアを彩る置きもののように気軽に楽しんでいただけます。

It does not have the clear board that is generally attached to artwork because it is less susceptible to deterioration.

再現にこだわってたどりついた印刷技法「UV印刷」
"UV printing" is a printing technique that was arrived at by focusing on reproduction

UV印刷という技法を使用して複製原画を印刷しています。
UV印刷とは、UVインキに紫外線を照射し瞬時にインキを乾かすことができる技法です。

We use a technique called UV printing to print original reproductions. UV printing is a technique in which UV ink is irradiated with ultraviolet light to dry the ink instantly.

乾燥させるための工程が不要なので、印刷する素材を選ばず、さらには素材の質感を生かしたまま印刷することができます。仕上げ材も使用しないため、パウダーなどが表面に付着することもなく、微細なニュアンスもしっかり表現することができます。

Since no drying process is required, any material can be printed on, and the texture of the material can be printed on while maintaining its original quality. Since no finishing materials are used, powder and other substances do not adhere to the surface, and even the finest nuances can be expressed clearly.



UV印刷を採用したことで、まるで陶器にそのまま絵筆で描かれたかのような質感を楽しむことができます。

By employing UV printing, the texture can be enjoyed as if it were painted directly on the ceramic with a paintbrush.

インテリアに馴染む、ナチュラルなフォトフレーム
Natural photo frame that fits in with your interior

tonoさんの作風に合わせて、インテリアに馴染むナチュラルなフレームを用意いたしました。
背面に通した紐を使用して壁掛けにも、専用のスティックを差し込むだけで、自立式のフォトスタンドにもなります。
フォトフレームは、福島県会津若松市の職人さんによってひとつひとつ手作業で製作されています。 オークやウォルナットなどの他の木材と比べて軽量な「桐」を使用しており、壁掛けの際も安心です。

To match tono's style, we have prepared natural frames that fit in with your interior design. It can be hung on the wall using the string threaded through the back, or it can be turned into a freestanding photo stand by simply inserting the special stick.
Each photo frame is handcrafted by artisans in Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture. Paulownia wood, which is lighter than other woods such as oak and walnut, is used for wall-hanging.



製作には、「浮造（うづくり）」という工程によって木目の柔らかい部分を削り、堅い部分を残すことで、傷つきにくい工夫が施されています。
たくさんの工程を経て製作されるフォトフレームは、大切なアートをしっかり守ってくれます。
400年近い歴史に裏打ちされた会津桐工芸の美しさをお楽しみいただけます。

In the process of production, the soft parts of the grain of the wood are cut away in a process called "Uzukuri," leaving the hard parts of the wood to resist scratching.

You can enjoy the beauty of Aizu paulownia craftsmanship backed by nearly 400 years of history.

また、陶板は簡単に取り外せますので、フォトフレームとアートとをバラバラでお使いいただくことも可能です。

The ceramic plate can be easily removed, so the photo frame and art can be used separately.

使用方法について
How to use

＜壁掛けの場合＞
壁にピンやフックを取り付けて、背面の紐にかけてください。水平器を使用して水平を整えると、きれいにかけることができます。
※画鋲やフック等は付属しておりませんので、壁にかける場合は適した金具でしっかりと固定してください。

＜立てかける場合＞


背面の穴に付属のスティックを奥まで挿しこんでください。このときしっかり挿さっているかを必ず確認してください。

In case of wall hanging
Attach pins or hooks to the wall and hang it on the string on the back. Use a leveler to level the surface for a clean hang.
When hanging it on the wall, please fix it firmly with suitable metal fittings.

When standing up
Insert the attached stick deep into the hole on the back. Be sure to check that it is firmly inserted at this point.

さらに「Morning Walk」をモチーフにした、書き下ろしイラストのマグカップもセット。

焼きものの名産地・瀬戸で「かけわけ」という伝統的な技法を用いて製作されているマグカップは、焼きものの良さを感じられるシンプルなうつわです。

The set also includes a mug with a newly drawn illustration featuring the "Morning Walk" motif. The mugs are produced using the traditional "kakewake" technique in Seto, a place famous for its pottery, and are simple vessels that allow you to feel the quality of the pottery.



マグカップは、240ml〜280ml程度を注いでいただけるコンパクトサイズで、デスクなど限られたスペースにもフィットします。 ぽってりとした厚みがあり、口当たりがよく使いやすいです。

陶器のプリントは、確かな転写技術を持つメーカーさんと協業し、細かな線まで再現することができました。繊細な線で描かれた生き生きとしたキャラクターに、思わず笑顔がこぼれます。

The mug is compact enough to pour about 240-280 ml and fits in a limited space such as a desk. It is chunky, thick, and easy to use with a good feel in the mouth.
The ceramic print was made in cooperation with a manufacturer that possesses reliable transfer technology and was able to reproduce even the finest lines. The lively characters drawn with delicate lines will bring a smile to your face.

密度の細かい土を高温の熱で焼きしめて作っていますので強度があり、割れにくく、欠けにくいです。 電子レンジ・食洗機・オーブンがお使いいただけ、日々のメンテナンスも簡単です。
適度に陶土の質感を残した表面のでこぼこは、一点もののような味わいを感じられるとともに、汚れやシミなどがつきづらく、清潔さを保ちやすいです。 お子様用のうつわとしても気兼ねなくお使いいただけます。

It can be used in the microwave, dishwasher, and oven, and is easy to maintain on a daily basis.
